Al Dugan’s experience makes him uniquely and highly qualified as a consultant. He has a long standing successful track record in the marine cargo insurance industry. No other broker in the US market can match his background and experience. He has a total of 36 years of experience in all aspects of Underwriting, Claims, Loss Prevention, Logistics Audits and Brokerage Operations. Al Dugan has completed hundreds of successful marine cargo underwriting program solutions during his 36 year career. He specialized in technology and life science for startups up to Fortune 500 companies.

Dugan Risk Management and Insurances Services LLC is an approved client Intermediary for Lloyd’s of London.

Al Dugan was Senior Vice President of Falvey Cargo Underwriters from 2002 – 2014 responsible for all underwriting and brokerage operations. He also personally handled the most complex accounts with the largest individual book in the company by premium on behalf of Lloyd’s of London. He held a Property and Casualty and Special Lines Surplus Lines Broker license which is still current.

Before Falvey Cargo Underwriting, Al Dugan spent 24 years with Marine Office of America Corporation. During this tenure he obtained extensive experience in Loss Prevention, Claims, Logistics Audits, Underwriting and Brokerage Operations.   He was awarded the Chairman’s Award and served at numerous and varied positions of increased importance and retired as an officer level Director of Underwriting before joining Falvey Cargo Underwriting.
